As we've discussed in the donor section of this CDROM, the TremorMUV is considerably more of a vehicle than what you begin with! It is true that you start with, for example, a stock Chevy Suburban. The frame and axles remain the same when finished, however many changes do occur.
- Wider wheels, and specific offsets, give your finished TremorMUV a much wider stance.
- Because of the body design and construction, the overall vehicle height and weight distribution changes.
- This results in a lower center of gravity with better side stability.
- A maximum tire diameter of 37" without a body lift gives incredible traction and clearance.
- Because no body lift is required for these HUGE tires, stability is not compromised.
- Front to Rear balance is improved, as the driveline is moved back 17" on the frame.
- Deepwater foraging is possible, and easily incorporated into the design.
- Improved cargo capacity with the redesigned and constructed TremorMUV body- And let's not forget the TremorMUV's incredible looks! This is truly an unbeatable plus!
Here are some of the TremorMUV Prototype specifications I've gathered so far. As you can see, this is no longer a Chevy Suburban. It's a pure-blood, fire breathing TremorMUV in all its glory!
